In the 14th episode of “Live With Gregory Pappas,” the publisher of The Pappas Post hosted “Blood of Zeus” Netflix anime series creators Vlas and Charley Parlapanides and special guests and voice actors Chris Diamantopoulos and Elias Toufexis.
“Blood of Zeus” premiered on Netflix in October 2020 and immediately became a huge hit with audiences throughout the world, even trending in the top five most watched shows on Netflix in the United States, Greece and other countries.
The Parlapanides brothers are well-known in Hollywood for a successful body of work, including another Greek-themed film, “Immortals,” the 2011 action drama that stared Henry Cavill as Theseus who was tasked with fighting the ruthless King Hyperion who wanted to destroy humanity.
Chris Diamantopoulos is a Toronto-born actor whose roles include Russ Hanneman in the HBO series Silicon Valley, Moe Howard in the 2012 film The Three Stooges, Finn in Good Girls Revolt and the voice of Mickey Mouse in the eponymous television series, among others.
Elias Toufexis is a Montreal-born actor in television, film, theatre, voice and performance capture. He has played dozens of major characters on television, most notably in the science fiction and fantasy genres. His career in the world of voice-over and performance capture is extensive with multiple performance capture roles in films, TV shows and videogames and voice-overs in animations and commercials.
