The local Clearwater, Florida Fox affiliate featured rebuilding efforts of the community of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, which suffered a devastating fire last February in their Faith in Action series (see video below).
Structural damage and smoke destroyed the inside of the building. It was a Saturday night when the fire took place but quick action enabled the community to worship the very next day in a nearby gymnasium.
Immediately after the incident, the community came together to raise millions and starting the rebuilding process.
Renderings in the video below show that very soon, an 11,500 Byzantine-style sanctuary will be built and ready to welcome worshipers once again. A capital campaign was undertaken, already having raised more than $4 million.
Holy Trinity in Clearwater serves more than 900 families from the region.
