Torrential downpours all over Greece have led to flooding throughout the country but nowhere were the scenes as dramatic as on the island of Hydra, where rain flowing from the mountains emptied into the port town like a raging river.
The local news reported that Hydra looks like a “bombed town” with trash and debris tossed throughout the harbor.
