Kefalas, former aide to both US Attorney General Eric Holder (D) and Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. (R-MD), is the current Vice President of Executive Communications at the National Association of Manufacturers, the largest industrial trade association in the United States.
He joined the business advocacy giant after serving as a speechwriter to Attorney General Holder. He had previously served as a trial and appellate attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, beginning his tenure under former Attorney General Michael Mukasey (R); as civil litigator in private practice; and Deputy Legal Counsel to Governor Ehrlich – the youngest attorney to hold the position in Maryland history.
