The Eurogroup– an ad hoc group of European Union finance ministers who are negotiating with Greece on its ongoing debt crisis, rejected Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras’ June 30th offer. The Eurogroup responded with a letter refusing Tsipras’ request for an extension of the bailout and also opted to await the results of the July 5th referendum that Tsipras’ government has called. The copy of the Eurogroup’s response letter is here: Letter to Mr Tsipras – 1 July 2015.
