Picture this house, carved meticulously into the side of a cliff on one of Greece’s Aegean islands.
The house was created as a concept project by OPA (Open Platform for Architects), run by two Greek architects Laertis Antonios Ando Vassiliou and Pantelis Kampouropoulos.
The project is all about simplicity and modesty, making no negative impact on the landscape or environment, beyond a surface-level swimming pool and a set of descending steps that lead to a giant glass facade facing the infinite blue of the Aegean Sea.
*Important to note that these are renderings and this is a concept house.
