In a frank, exclusive conversation with Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Greek prime minister said that he was doing all he can to convince his European partners that Greece needs debt relief in order to return to growth and that the current methods weren’t working.
He reiterated his position that having three main creditors— the Eurozone, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund— wasn’t easy, especially since they don’t always see eye to eye on what they believe to be best for Greece.
Tsipras tweeted a photo with Arianna Huffington and used the hashtag many are now using, #GRecovery

He told Huffington that “Everything shows that Greece is ready to recover, as long as the same mistakes of the past aren’t made” and that “I hope and wish that we don’t lose this— perhaps last— opportunity for Greece,” according to the interview from Huffington Post Greece.
