Thirty eight years ago today Turkish tanks and aircraft invaded the island of Cyprus, occupying a third of the island and splitting Nicosia -- the capital city, in half between Turkish-occupied and Greek zones. Almost four decades later and the island is still occupied. In this cemetery in Nicosia, family members of the victims of the invasion, including over a thousand still missing, still visit their dead, who must no doubt, be restless themselves, awaiting an end to the occupation.
