Every year, Greece’s summer tourism season draws in all kinds of celebrities looking to take time out of the spotlight, and this year is no exception.
Adding to the long list of star-studded visits, Kate Hudson and her mother Goldie Hawn have made the trip across the pond for a family vacation.
Hudson is no stranger to the country, having already thoroughly enjoyed vacation time on the Aegean island of Skiathos in the past.
In fact, in April the award-winning actress told worldwide leading fashion publication Harper’s Bazaar about just how much she loves spending time in Greece.
“Greece is my favorite vacation spot,” Hudson told Bazaar. “I feel really at home there. I love the culture, the people are wonderful, and the water is just so incredibly appealing.”
Nonetheless, this time around she is traveling with a sizable crew.
Joining Hudson and her mother for the occasion are her stepfather Kurt Russell, her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa, her children Ryder, 14, and Bingham Hawn, 6, as well as her brother Oliver and Russell’s son Wyatt with his wife Meredith Hagner.
Hudson has been sharing snippets of the trip via Instagram, including a photo where the whole family posed together in the sparkling blue Greek water.
“☀’s out, belly out,” her caption read, referring to her pregnant stomach carrying her first child with Fujikawa and her first daughter.
Hudson gave a Father’s Day shoutout to her stepdad Kurt Russell, sharing a photo of the longtime Hollywood actor next to her brother Oliver.
“For me…no one tops these dads ?,” she wrote. “I know there’s a lot of people out there who feel the same way about their family ❤️ As it should be! So happy Father’s Day to all the best dads in the world!”
The award-winning actress also posted a photo of her mother wearing a bathing suit, calling her a “goddess.”
And, just in case Hudson’s fans were hungry for more, she shared a snapshot of a freshly-prepared Greek seafood lunch.
