Pappas Post Experiences Proudly Presents Cooking with Chef Maria Loi
Join us for a hands-on opportunity to learn, cook and celebrate Greek cuisine with the acclaimed Greek celebrity chef Maria Loi from Loi Estiatorio in Midtown Manhattan. Chefs Dara Davenport and Maria Benardis from Chef Loi’s team will also join in the instruction.
We’re excited to share a Fall 2018 cooking lessons series, featuring six different classes.
Each intimate, boutique course will take place at Loi Estiatorio and will be limited to 18 students, allowing for a personal opportunity to learn and get to know other participants.
Classes will begin at 1:00pm with a half-hour meet and greet and special welcome “kerasma” or offering by Chef Loi. The two-hour class will commence promptly at 1:30pm and complete by 3:30pm.
In addition to hands-on lessons, tips and insider cooking secrets from the professionals, each course includes a full meal (with paired wine) that you’ve been a part of creating, as well as recipe cards for each meal prepared that day so you can take home and repeat with family and friends.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
At the end of each class, you’ll also receive a certificate of completion, presented by Chef Loi, who serves as the Global Ambassador of Greek Gastronomy by the Chef’s Club of Greece.
Join The Pappas Post and Chef Maria Loi and her team for a unique experience to live, learn, and love TASTY, HEALTHY and EASY Greek cuisine… It’s The Loi Way.
