A first generation Greek American— the first ever to compete in the Miss USA pageant, will compete for the coveted title of Miss USA on Sunday, June 8, 2014. Miss Colorado, Eleanna Livaditis is amongst beauty queens from every U.S. state and the District of Columbia are vying for the crown.
She was born and raised in Colorado. She graduated from the University of Wyoming where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She currently works in the legal department of an oil and gas company in Denver and plans to use the skills she has learned to help her achieve her dream of practicing environmental law.
Eleanna, according to her official bio on the Miss USA website, is 100% Greek and the only first generation Greek American to compete at Miss USA. She thinks that growing up with the duality of both cultures has made a major impact on her life.
Eleanna comes from a big family and she credits their love and support as a big part of her success. Her hobbies include traveling, seeing live music, cooking, teaching Greek school, and playing with her dog, Berkley.
