Cypriot-born Maria-Elena Kyriakou to Represent Greece in 2015 Eurovision with Ballad “One Last Breath”

The Greek people voted and the Eurovision committee listened— Maria-Elena Kyriakou will represent the Hellenic Republic in Vienna in May at the Eurovision Song Contest with her ballad “One Last Breath.”

The finals tonight in Athens presented the five songs that were selected— ranging from pop to dance— and Kyriakou’s ballad. The voting was conducted by a 50/50 mix of jury and telephone voting. The first semi-final will be held on May 19th in Vienna.

The song is composed by Efthivoulos Theoharous, Maria Elena Kyriakou, Vaggelis Konstantinidis and Evelina Tziora. Listen to Kyriakou’s song below:
