Greece invests in Venice Biennale pavilion
Despite the economic crisis, Greece is spending 250,000 euros for a pavilion at the the 55th Venice Biennale (1 June-24 November), the world’s most prestigious exhibition. The pavilion will house Stefanos Tsivopoulos’ film and photo series titled History Zero. The film, which will be unveiled May 29, questions the role of money as experienced by an elderly art collector suffering from dementia, an immigrant and an artist photographing the city. It was especially commissioned for the Biennale.
